Hale Focuses on Bipartisanship & Health Care in First IN-05 Debate
Throughout tonight’s first general election debate in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District, Christina Hale focused on her commitment to protecting Hoosiers’ health care and working across the aisle to find commonsense solutions to Indiana’s most urgent issues.
“Tonight, Christina Hale reminded Hoosiers why this race is so competitive and why she’s the right candidate to represent IN-05. Voters are tired of the partisan bickering and, now more than ever, they want their member of Congress to deliver real results for their community,” said Joann Saridakis, Hoosiers for Hale campaign manager. “Voters know that Christina has a track record of reaching across the aisle to enact meaningful change for her constituents, which is how she was able to pass 60 bipartisan bills in the General Assembly. And at a time when we face an unprecedented public health crisis, Christina is the only candidate in this race who is truly committed to making health care more affordable for all Hoosiers and protecting those with pre-existing conditions from being kicked off their plans. That’s what voters are looking for, and that’s what they heard from Christina tonight.”
