Candidate for Mayor Robin Shackleford Announces Listening Tour

Candidate for Indianapolis Mayor Robin Shackleford (D) announces she will begin a Listening Tour in the new year.  The state representative says the tour will include eight sessions spread around the city. 

“The tour will provide a chance for Indianapolis residents to meet me, share their hopes and concerns, and provide me with details on the issues they want me to address, as well as solutions they hope to see in a Shackleford administration,” said Shackleford. 

The sessions will take place on the following dates and locations: 

  • Saturday, January 7, Lawrence Township, 1-3 p.m.

  • Saturday, February 4, Martindale-Brightwood, 1-3 p.m.

  • Saturday, March 11, Decatur, 1-3 p.m.

The Indianapolis native was first elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 2012. Shackleford currently represents District 98 on the Indianapolis eastside. She also has a background in project management, supervision, training and budgeting in the private sector, as well as nonprofit experience.
