ANDREA HUNLEY CAMPAIGN RAISES MORE THAN $33,000 FROM 150 INDIVIDUAL DONORS
January 18, 2022 -Indiana State Senate District 46 candidate Andrea Hunley has raised more than $33,000 from 150 individual donors since her campaign for the newly mapped 46th District began November 17.
“I’ve never donated to a political campaign before, but Andrea is fighting for issues that are most important to me, including education and transportation,” said Indianapolis resident and business owner, Victoria Beaty. “I trust her to be the voice of the people and create change that will positively impact our community for years to come, and I am proud to support her.”
In addition to garnering financial support from individuals and many first-time donors, the grassroots Hunley Campaign has surpassed their goals in the first 45 days, including:
– Recruiting and activating 74 volunteers
– Engaging with 8,560+ voters
– Visiting 60 small businesses and speaking with 20+ creative entrepreneurs
– Attending 46 community events
– Collecting more than 100 books for local schools
“Running for public office has and continues to be about the community and the families I will represent,” says Andrea. “The momentum and support from families and individuals showing up to volunteer, knocking on doors, and donating reminds me every day why representing this diverse district is so critical.”
With a decade of experience as an IPS Principal at an award-winning school, Hunley has a proven track record of bold leadership and commitment to the families in the community. She is ready to take this commitment to the next level and serve in the Statehouse. High-quality education, strong neighborhoods with affordable housing and access to transportation, and a living wage are the pillars of Hunley’s campaign.
