Unity Ride with Hoosiers for Haneefah 2020

Ms. Haneefah Khaaliq is running for the Office of the United States Senate in Indiana in 2022. To that end, she’s getting a head start on her run for office while virtually bringing people together from all backgrounds, races, cultures, etc., to demonstrate unity in a time when our country once again finds itself in a place of social unrest. Together with Hoosiers for Haneefah, Ms. Khaaliq will ride with her team virtually for unity across the region through Gary, Valparaiso, and finally to Indianapolis where she will then deliver a virtual unity and peace speech to all virtual riders at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in Indianapolis, IN. Get ready to join this exciting journey virtually from Gary, Indiana all the way to Washington DC! On August 15, 2020 Hoosiers who believe in fair, peaceful, and win-win solutions to issues will watch live and join virtually as Chuck G., event organizer, and Haneefah Khaaliq bike ride across the region to bring groups together from all backgrounds to show solidarity. The virtual bike ride will begin at City Methodist Church located at 577 Washington Street in Gary, Indiana, an urban ruin, once the site of a grand congregation.  From there, they will ride together to Valparaiso, Indiana for a 12 p.m. virtual rally at the County Court House. They will then head to Indianapolis, finally arriving in Indianapolis, where between Sunday, August 16^thand Monday, August 17^th, there will be another virtual rally at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, at 1 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, Indiana at 1 p.m. On August 28^thHaneefah will further represent unity and peace at the I Have a Dream Marchat the Lincoln Memorial on Capitol Hill (D.C.).
