Hale Releases Third Television Ad in #IN05
Christina Hale today released her third television ad of the general election. In the 30-second spot, Christina talks about the need to protect health coverage for people with pre-existing conditions and to lower health care costs for all Hoosiers.
“Not a day goes by that I don’t hear from families who are deeply concerned about the rising costs of health care,” said Christina Hale. “Now, more than ever, we need to make sure people can afford to go to the doctor if they’re sick. And while some in Washington are focused on tearing down our current health care system, I’m focused on making sure every Hoosier has access to affordable coverage. If you already have a plan, I want to help make it more affordable. If you have a pre-existing condition, then I’m going to fight to make sure you’re covered no matter what. And if you can’t afford health care at all, then I’m going to make sure there’s a strong public option for you. That’s been my promise to voters since I first launched my campaign, and it will remain my priority when I get to Congress.”
Hale’s campaign in IN-05 is one of the top pickup opportunities for Democrats nationally. National Journal recently listed the district as the 8th-most likely to flip in November. This ranking follows ratings changes from Cook Political Report andSabato’s Crystal Ball, with both nonpartisan election forecasters moving the race to “Toss Up.” In another sign of the campaign’s growing momentum, recent polls have Hale leading her opponent by 5 and 7 percentage points.
