Musk Moves to Make His Own Mar-a-Lago Near BFF Trump in D.C: Report
Elon Musk is reportedly eyeing the Line, a trendy Washington, D.C., hotel, to transform it into a private social club akin to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. The 220-room hotel, which opened seven years ago, is up for auction after failing to meet financial expectations. Sources suggest Musk could use the space as a headquarters, especially given his new role as co-director of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and his close alliance with President-elect Trump, the DailyBeast.com reports.
Musk will also join tech leaders like Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos at Trump’s upcoming inauguration, which will take place indoors due to an Arctic blast sweeping the nation. Trump cited safety concerns for the change, urging attendees to dress warmly if braving the harsh weather.
