Fortenberry running close in State Senate District 36

Friends, the 2024 election cycle has been marked with many ups and downs. From our nominee dropping out to his replacement revitalizing the party, this year has definitely felt like a roller coaster. When I threw my hat into the ring, I knew things would be challenging and that my chances of winning were slim. Well, after another one of those rollercoaster moments, my excitement for this race has never been higher.

According to a new internal poll that we conducted, 40% of all respondents indicated that they would be voting for us in the upcoming election, while only 44.5% indicated that they were voting Republican. In a district that went 60-40 for Republicans in 2022, this is AMAZING news.

I know we have a lot of work to do before November, but this poll gives me hope. I know that if were able to put our positive, forward-thinking vision in front of more Hoosiers, we can flip this seat!
