SCHMUHL: Banks, Braun, and Rokita Put MAGA Ahead of All of Indiana

The Indiana Democratic Party released the following statement from Chair Mike Schmuhl after Donald Trump, Jr.’s rally with Mike Braun, Jim Banks, and Todd Rokita on Tuesday in Shelbyville.

“It’s no surprise to see Banks, Braun, and Rokita slumming with Donald Trump, Jr. Whether it’s attacking doctors or coming after contraceptive access, time and again, they put MAGA ahead of Indiana. 

We need leaders who will work to bring Hoosiers together, protect rural healthcare, restore the right to choose, and bring more balance to our politics. That’s why it’s vital we elect Jennifer McCormick as Governor this fall, and retire Todd Rokita by electing an AG who respects the rule of law.”
