Marc Carmichael for US Senate Responds…

After another horrible day for the United States, let’s think about the makeup of the partisan Republican Supreme Court majority that is turning the clock back almost 60 years, a court our narrow minded, mean spirited Congressman Jim Banks calls the best Supreme Court in American history.

There are two justices who lied under oath to be confirmed, there is one judge sitting in a seat that should be Merrick Garland’s except for the un-American activities of Mitch McConnell, there is one judge who has pledged her allegiance to a Catholic cult (People of Praise) where she is expected to defer to her husband for all large decisions and the cult is run by an all male Board of Governors, and two judges on the take from wealthy individuals just looking for boring friends to hang out with.

This is not a great Supreme Court, this is a greatly flawed Supreme Court.  This court is a creation of the Federalist Society and the Republican Party in an effort to maintain white supremacy and their preferred way of life for as long as humanly possible by using the courts to stop progress.

As long as we elect Republicans to the US Senate this is what we can expect.
