Jennifer McCormick Challenges Mike Braun to a Town Hall Meeting on Reproductive Rights in Jasper

Former Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction and Democratic candidate for Indiana Governor, Jennifer McCormick, has invited GOP candidate Senator Mike Braun to participate in tomorrow’s Town Hall meeting in his hometown of Jasper Indiana, centered around reproductive rights here in Indiana.

“Nearly two years ago, women’s freedoms were stripped from them when extreme politicians at the Indiana Statehouse convened a special session and passed one of the earliest abortion bans in the nation following the Dobbs decision,” said Jennifer McCormick. “And now, the right to contraception is in question. Senator Braun didn’t bother to vote last week on an important bill protecting access to contraceptives. If he had shown up to vote, what would his vote have been? Tomorrow’s Town Hall in Jasper is an opportunity to ask him. Hoosier voters deserve to know if their candidates for governor will protect or further attack access to reproductive healthcare in Indiana. ”

Tomorrow’s Jasper Town Hall will take place from 6:30-7:30 pm ET at the Jasper Train Depot, 201 Mill St., Jasper, IN 47546. The Town Hall is open to the media and the public.
