Indiana MAGA Civil War Continues…

The Indiana Democratic Party, the organization that advocates for the future of Indiana and its families, today issued the following statement after the Republican supermajority in the Indiana General Assembly voted today to override a veto by Governor Eric Holcomb which would have prevented partisan elected officials from interfering in local health emergencies – like the COVID-19 pandemic. This is now the third time in a calendar year where the Indiana Republican Party’s extreme partisanship trumped the science, facts, and public safety. It’s also the third time where it became clear Governor Holcomb is an irrelevant governor and unable to hold his party’s severe politics at bay:

Hoosiers are looking for responsible government, and Democrats have been delivering for them – starting with the American Rescue Plan.
